The Portuguese coach, Jose Mourinho has apparently shocked his players by not leading training himself, preferring to sit in his office and watch from a distance Manchester United's stars are shocked at Jose Mourinho's "cold" and "distant" approach in training following their 4-0 loss at Chelsea, according to The Times.
The Portuguese suffered his heaviest-ever Premier League defeat on Sunday at Stamford Bridge and blasted his side's "incredible defensive mistakes" after the result.

Mourinho kept up his line of accusation ahead of their EFL Cup fourth round clash against Manchester City in midweek, calling the players "boys", and it appears his approach in training reflects his attitude towards his squad at the moment.

It is claimed that it is Rui Faria, Mourinho's assistant, who is leading training at the club's Carrington complex. Mourinho, meanwhile, is alleged to watch from a distance or work in his office most of the time.

The cold treatment has reportedly come as an unpleasant surprise to those who thought Mourinho would give them special attention.

The Times claims that Mourinho has no intention of changing his approach to the Man Utd squad he inherited from Louis van Gaal any time soon either.

Chelsea produced a masterclass  display to ensure Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho's return to Stamford Bridge ended in a humbling 4-0 defeat. They played the match according to the script.
Mourinho's team, without captain Wayne Rooney due to injury, were stunned when Pedro rounded David de Gea to score the quickest goal in the Premier League this season after just 30 seconds, and Gary Cahill doubled the lead after 21 minutes.

United were behind before even touching the ball as Pedro latched onto Marcos Alonso's pass and rounded the needlessly onrushing De Gea to slot home in the first minute.

The hosts continued to play with greater intensity and, after Hazard drilled wide from 18 yards, their lead was doubled when the Belgian's right-wing corner ricocheted off Ander Herrera and sat up for Cahill to slam home from six yards.

N'Golo Kante then completed the rout with Chelsea's fourth on 70 minutes as the visitors capitulated.

I will call this a match that they will simply want to forget because they were humiliated beyond redemption.

MrSnowgysSport : Will Mourinho last a season at Manchester United

Mourinho's era as the boss at Manchester United has not started the way he would have loved it to be. Within the past few days he has lost three consecutive matches and that does not give his profile a boost with the fans watching and even those he still has to convince in the boardroom that he is the man to take United back to the top.
He is definitely a good coach but so far his judgement has been a very poor one. This is the best time for him to start making the big decision.

He doesn't look himself and needs to be dropped.

He needs to make some changes to his team and that should start with him dropping Rooney to the bench even though that will bring a lot of criticism. He is not at his best and needs to sit out for the good of the team and am sure we will agree that he is not bigger than the team.

He is just not the united type of player and he has shown that under 3 different coaches.

 The pairing of Fellaini and Pogba is not working out as well and he still keeps using them. Mourinho needs to start adapting and needs to change his philosophy of playing physical football, Fellaini is just not a United kind of player. He has options on the bench. If he looses the game tonight against Northampton, it spells the beginning of the end for his career as the coach of United. Everybody thought with Mourinho has the coach the fear factor will return but so far it seems it is the opposite.
He is not the type that does well with criticism but he is definitely going to get a lot at united than he has gotten at a lot of other clubs he has worked at so far, so he Better starts getting used to it and work at receiving all the blames rather than pointing accusing fingers at his players through the media. Now is the time for Mourinho to deliver before the fans starts chanting for him to be sacked.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic to have more days off than other Manchester United players

Jose Mourinho has revealed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will have more days off during the international break than the rest of his Manchester United squad.

The former Sweden captain will get four days rest during the international fortnight, while the rest of Mourinho's remaining squad will only get two days off.
Ibrahimovic, 34, has played every minute of each of United's three league games since his arrival from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer, registering a goal on his Premier League debut against Bournemouth and a brace a week later against Southampton.
Mourinho says there is nothing new about players in his squads having different amounts of time off.

"At 34 years old, you need to rest. You cannot play 70 matches a season. So I give the other guys, who are not selected for the national teams, two days - and I give four days to Zlatan," said Mourinho. 
"I give holidays a la carte. It depends on the situation. And he is playing every match, every minute. So four matches, he played 360 minutes - four days off for the big guy."

 Looking at Paul Pogba’s first spell at the club, the majority of the footage that we can see  showed him preparing to come on as a substitute in various first-team games. Pogba returns to United as a ready-made superstar. Almost five years on from the day he was expecting to make his first Old Trafford start, he does so as the final piece of what Jose Mourinho hopes will be a title-winning jigsaw. Just as Juventus built a team to challenge with Pogba at the heart of it, the Portuguese is going about a very similar project at Old Trafford.
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the forward line, Henrikh Mkhitaryan added to the attacking midfield department and Eric Bailly already commanding the back four, United have injected quality into every area this summer. Pogba has arrived back in Manchester to find a team truly ready to make great leaps back towards the top of the game.

Mid-August and two high-profile fixtures into his latest career move, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has already demonstrated just what he can offer Manchester United. A player who can drift in and out of games, going barely noticed in the Community Shield and not even managing a touch in Bournemouth’s penalty area through the first half on Sunday, can now point to a winner at Wembley and a 25-yard skimmer that even coaxed José Mourinho into manic celebration as rewards from a first week of his competitive United career. The Swede retains that stardust. The strut and air of authority will never leave him, with this a player whose timing is rarely off. But Mourinho was more anxious to point to another by-product of his summer move from Paris Saint-Germain as more cause for optimism. “Look, the first thing I can tell you is that, at his table for breakfast and for meals, he is surrounded by the young ones, the kids,” said the Portuguese. “Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford … these are the guys who are with him at the table. He knows what he can be for them. But, for the team, you have to forget the passport, that he is 34 years old. The body and mentality are not those of a 34-year-old guy. Life at Villarreal is different to life at Manchester United. Playing for a team aiming for fifth or sixth is different to trying to win it. But he’s showing big personality which is incredible. “He was injured against Leicester in the Community Shield and said nothing but played 90 minutes. He couldn’t train this week after that, and trained for the first time yesterday with the team. He’d had the problem all week. He did amazing work with the physio and fitness coaches. Jose Mourinho, new manager of Man. U has taken to Instagram to apologize to Chelsea fans after some Chelsea fans thought he was referring to them as camels on his son's Instagram page.

Jose Mourinho's son,  José Mario Mourinho Jr who is a goalkeeper for Fulham, played 45 minutes for Fulham Under-18s and they beat Chelsea Under-18s 2-1 on Saturday.

Mourinho’s son posted a picture of himself goalkeeping and captioned it: “Buzzin about today! Beat Chelsea 2-1, played second half, clean sheet, very proud, made a couple of great saves! #COYW”.

Chelsea fans angered by the 'lack of respect' by Mourinho's son then hurled abuses at the boy and also tagged Jose Mourinho. hurling abuses at him too.

Mourinho then came to his son's Instagram page and commented with a camel emoji, referring to the Chelsea supporters who were abusing him and his son.

As you can imagine, this sent Chelsea fans into overdrive and Jose Mourinho, then today commented on his son's page,  apologizing to fans of his former club. More of this will definitely still occur before the end of the season.

Jose Mourinho believes "magnificent" talent Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be a huge hit with Manchester United fans after watching the Armenian's debut against Wigan.Mourinho got his tenure as United manager off to a winning start with a 2-0 pre-season friendly victory over the Latics, thanks to second-half goals from Will Keane and Andreas Pereira.
New signings Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly both started in the victory, with the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder making a particularly strong impression on his new boss.
