Arsenal Transfer News: Higuain turns down huge contract
Arsene Wenger has been eyeing the Napoli hitman, and it has been reported Olivier Giroud could be used as bait in an attempt to prise Higuain from Italy.
But even the carrot of a big contract offer from China wasn’t enough to sway Higuain.
Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol tweeted: “Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain turns down £800,000 a week to play for Hebei China Fortune.”
According to reports from mrsnowgy.blogspot.com the deal is likely to be completed sooner than we expect.
The question then is; can he provide arsenal with the missing power that they have been missing upfront? Can he bring the league to the emirates stadium?
