Queen Chichi Mbagwu made Nigeria and Africa proud after she bagged a 1st Class honours in Accountancy from University of Brighton in United Kingdom recently.
The 22 year old British Nigerian graduate emerged as Face of Unity Nigeria in a keenly contested pageant held In Enugu state, the south-eastern part of Nigeria in 2013.
It is quite amazing to know that Chichi Mbagwu was born in Enugu state but left the country when she was just 7 months old and coincidentally returned to the state almost 20 years later to be crowned as Face Of Unity Nigeria Queen.
Her mother Ndidi Mbagwu, who totally supports her daughter in all she sets out to achieve, could not hide her joy. She had said back then about her beauty with brains daughter who made 1st class:
" I am truly surprised and of course proud of her. It's indeed a commendable feat"Chichi Mbagwu as Face Of Unity Nigeria Queen had also:
- done projects to unite Nigerians in diaspora
- She is a diehard Beyonce fan, was once brought up on stage by the superstar singer
- Chichi currently works with the one of the top 3 accounting firms in the UK
- During the Nigerian presidential/gubernatorial election, Chichi campaigned/flagged off a pproject persuading nigerians to come out and massively vote
- She has graced several print media pages
- Her interview on NTA international was replayed for over 1 month in the UK
- Her motivation in the beauty pageant world is Bianca Ojukwu
- Chichi has initiated and concluded many charity projects in the UK and Nigeria
- She is her parents's only daughter in a family of 4 kids
Kudos to Yvette and Chichi's mothers for raising such beautiful women. Coincidentally, these 2 brands - the Most Beautiful Model in Nigeria & Face of Unity Nigeria are being promoted by Amity Global Networks.
Big congrats to the queens on their Pan African Humanitarian Awards.
