Check out President Obama's epic reply to Donald Trump's 'mean' tweet

President Obama took part in Jimmy Kimmel’s infamous “Mean Tweets” segment for a second time during his Monday appearance on Live!, willingly reading aloud a series of not-so-nice comments that have been written about him on Twitter.
After reading a mean tweet from the Republican nominee, Donald Trump that said, “President Obama will go down as the worst president in the history of the United States!” He replied;

Really? Well, @realDonaldTrump, at least I will go down as a President.” He then threw down the phone he was reading from.

Watch the video below (1:25mins for his reply to Trump)

The night Bill Clinton let Trump dodge the bullet that should have killed his campaign, then walk all over Hillary- Piers Morgan

Read his piece below...
Wow. I don’t think I’m overstating things when I say that last night’s debate was the most sickeningly squalid spectacle in the history of US politics. To see the remaining two candidates for the presidency trading blows about sexual assault and rape was so unedifying it defies any parody Saturday Night Live might ever come up.
Who won?
Most polls so far say Hillary Clinton.
But I think Donald Trump did, simply because he was still standing by the end – physically and metaphorically.

Many predicted this would be Trump’s televised 90-minute political funeral following the leak of those indefensible Access Hollywood sex-charged tapes. The fact that he lived to fight another day says a lot about Teflon Don’s astonishing resilience under fire and his impenetrably shameless rhino hide.
But it also says a lot about Hillary Clinton’s essential weakness too. This should have been the night she landed the White House.

After years of telling us she was the No1 candidate for women, she was handed a gold-plated gift enabling her to prove it once and for all. There was Trump, the man she’s always accused of being a sexist, misogynist creep, actually caught on camera being a sexist, misogynist creep. Worse than that, Trump appeared to be openly boasting about using his celebrity status to commit sexual assaults on women.

‘I’m automatically attracted to beautiful women,’ he told NBC presenter Billy Bush. ‘I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything.. Grab them by the p***y. You can do anything.’
It’s hard to imagine any ‘October surprise’ that could possibly suit Hillary’s agenda more than this. All she had to do was stand on that podium last night and read out exactly what Trump said about women. Then repeat it a few more times during the debate to ram his own repellent words down his throat.
No male presidential candidate could possibly withstand such an excruciating barrage from a female candidate. Virtually every woman in America would have been cheering her on as Trump wilted and withered on a stage of shame.
The Donald would have been damned by his own dirty diction in front of 100 million people. The trickle of Republican figures disowning him would have turned into a tsunami. Would even his VP pick Mike Pence have stood by him? In which case it would have been game over, surely? But when the moment came, Hillary blew it. She tried to go there, of course.

Yet there was one huge problem: her husband Bill, sitting just a few yards away in the front row.

The world knows him as a brilliant politician, but also as a serial seducer of epic proportions who, while he was President of the United States, even had sexual relations with a young intern in the Oval Office.

In comparison to Bill, many view Trump as a choirboy when it comes to women.

Earlier last night, Trump hosted a press event with four women: Juanita Broaddrick, Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey and Kathy Shelton. Broaddrick claimed Bill Clinton raped her when he was Arkansas attorney general, and that Hillary intimidated her into silence when her husband launched his own bid to be president.

Willey was a former White House volunteer aide who alleges Bill Clinton sexually assaulted her during his first term as president. Jones is a former Arkansas state employee who sued Bill Clinton for sexual harassment. Shelton was a 12-year-old rape victim whose attacker was defended by Hillary Clinton in her lawyer days. A tape later emerged showing Hillary chuckling when talking about the case and suggesting she knew her client was guilty. She used a legal technicality to get him a substantially reduced sentence.

It was a prurient, distasteful and thoroughly self-serving stunt by Trump to sit among these women in front of the world’s media shortly before the debate started. And then take them to the actual debate itself and sit them right in the front row, feet away from Hillary.

It also proved to be an extremely effective form of ugly politics. Hillary knew they were there. So did Bill. And so did the world.

One Democrat compared it to the scene in Godfather II where Michael Corleone flies in the brother of family super-grass Frank Pentangeli to sit in the Senate committee room as a chilling silent reminder of the mafia code of omertà.

When Hillary went after Trump for his sex tapes, he instantly flew back at her about these women. ‘If you look at Bill Clinton, far worse,’ Trump jabbed.

‘Mine were words, his were actions. Bill Clinton was abusive to women, Hillary Clinton attacked those women, attacked them viciously.’

It was devastatingly brutal to watch, but as he doubtless hoped it would, it stopped the sex tape debate in its tracks.
Hillary had nowhere to go but meek retreat. ‘I’m reminded,’ she said, ‘of what my friend Michelle Obama advised us all: When they go low, you go high.’

Hmmm. I’m not so sure about that, Mrs Clinton. I think the world’s women were more of the ‘when they go THIS low, deliver the fatal blow’ mind-set. But she couldn’t and Trump knew it

Emboldened by this knowledge, you could see his confidence levels rise for the rest of the debate as he scored valuable points against her over issues like emails, Benghazi, Obamacare and Iraq. Hillary held her own but she was nowhere near as comfortable or dominant as she was in the first debate. By the end, it was clear that Trump had won the real battle. Far from being finished, he had sent a firm message to his supporters and indeed to those in the Republican Party itching to ditch him, that he is still alive and kicking in this race.

Photos: Baby Survivies After Being Stabbed 14 Times And Left In Shallow Grave

A newborn baby boy has made a miraculous recovery despite being stabbed 14 times and buried alive in a shallow grave in Thailand.

And after being taken to a local orphanage on surviving his ordeal, he is now set for a dream life after a Swedish couple adopted him.

The seven-month-old boy, named Aidin was dumped face down in a 20cm grave in February, just days after he was born.
He had suffered horrendous knife injuries before he was placed in the ground alive and left for dead.

However, passing cattle herder Kachit Krongyut saw a tiny foot sticking out of the ground under a eucalyptus tree.

She then heard the boy's cries and realised that it was a baby buried under the tree. The 53-year-old then began frantically digging up the soil with her hands and discovered the injured newborn.

Aidin was then rushed to hospital to be treated for his 14 stab wounds on his tiny body.
Miraculously, doctors said it was the pressure from the soil against his body that prevented Aidin from bleeding to death.

Mrs Krongyut said:

'At first, I thought someone buried their pets alive, but then I saw a foot.
'I tried to control myself and called for help. The baby was buried with its face facing down.'

After being nursed back to health, he was taken to an orphanage where he is now set to be adopted by a couple in Sweden.
Supachai Pathimchart from the Kaen Thong Orphanage where Aidin was cared for said they were "very happy" for him.

He said:

'All of the safety checks have been carried out to make sure Aidin goes to a good home. We're very happy that he will be going to a good home and have a comfortable life.
'He survived a very bad experience but he has a lot of character and he's happy with life.'

While Mrs Krongyut and her husband Pornchai, who rescued the infant, said they were delighted that Aidin is going to a good home.
Mr Krongyut said:

'He is very lucky. A few hours later and he might not have survived. We're very happy that he has found a loving home to go to. He will do well in life we're sure.'

Doctors believe that Aidin may have been abused by his mother, a 42-year-old local woman.
Footprints and motorbike tracks left at the scene helped police to find her. She was tracked down and charged with attempt
ed murder and abandoning her own child.

Thousands lose money in Zimbabwe as MMM crashes, warning to other countries

/2016/09/MMM-crashes-zimbabwe.html

Are you in Nigeria? Are you a member of MMM? Do you know someone that is into the scheme? This is for you and your friends, make sure you share this after reading.
There was a time the Federal Government and the Central Bank of Nigeria warned Nigerians against investing in MMM because it is a designed and ‘seasoning’ coated scam but many Nigerians did not listen and are still joining the program.

/2016/09/MMM-crashes-zimbabwe.html

Thousands of people, among them civil servants and vendors, have lost thousands of dollars to fraudulent online pyramid scheme MMM Global Zimbabwe after it collapsed recently. The social financial network, which relied on an accelerating number of new members to pay off the old, abruptly terminated its services last week leaving participants stranded.

/2016/09/MMM-crashes-zimbabwe.html

The scheme advertises itself as a mutual aid fund under which recruited members contribute money to assist others and are promised investment returns of 30 percent per month. Some of the people left counting their losses told The Herald that they received emails that the scheme had been suspended until September 15.
One of the participants who lost his money when interviewed said;

“When we started putting our funds in the scheme one could get assistance within seven days but things later changed to 14 days and when we were shut out the waiting period was 21 days. What it simply means is that the number of people in need of help has outnumbered the number of people joining. Right now we have nowhere to get our money which we invested.”

MMM stands for Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox and takes its name from its founder, Sergei Panteleevich Mavrodi of Russia. He founded MMM in 1989 and the scheme was declared bankrupt three years later leading to the disappearance of Mavrodi until his arrest in 2003 and many people still have there money stucked in this program.

/2016/09/MMM-crashes-zimbabwe.html

As at first it looks as if they are helping but it is the greatest scam of the century. This goes to many Nigerians and other Africans who still wants to join this scheme, my advice is for you not to join and if you have your money in it , I pray you get to collect your money before it crashes in your country.

Barack Obama Claims Sexism Is Responsible For Trump's Rapid Poll Rise

U.S President Barack Obama has weighed in on the U.S presidential election claiming that the reason why Trump is doing well in the polls is because of the sexist mentality among most Americans, saying if it weren't for sexist beliefs, Trump will be no where near the Democratic candidate..

"There's a reason why we haven't had a woman President," Obama said at a swanky Manhattan fund-raiser dinner for the Democratic nominee. "We as a society still grapple with what it means to see powerful women and it still troubles us in a lot of ways, unfairly."
This should not be a close election but it will be, and the reason it will be is not because of Hillary's flaws," Obama said.

Obama also blasted Trump, calling his campaign "an infomercial."
"It's a reality show, It's an infomercial " he said. 'This guy is not qualified to be president."
Barack also said it would be a "personal insult" to his legacy if black voters don't turn out on Election Day for Hillary Clinton.

Nigerian man arrested at Dubai Airport with 100 capsules of cocaine in his stomach jailed

A Nigerian transit traveller, who was caught at the Dubai International Airport with 100 capsules of cocaine in his stomach, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
The Court of First Instance convicted the 42-year-old Nigerian man of the charge of smuggling drugs via transit, and ordered him to pay Dh100,000 worth of fine. He was arrested on April 17th, 2016.
The sentencing will be followed by deportation, the court ruled, and ordered confiscation of the drugs.
"I was assigned to stand guard on the accused at the hospital. He had just been referred by the airport police officers after he was suspected of smuggling capsules containing drugs in his stomach," a policeman told the prosecutor, adding that he entered the operation room and witnessed as the doctors operated on the defendant to take the drugs out of his stomach. As many as 100 capsules containing drugs were found. I seized and handed them over to the anti-narcotics department," the police officer said.
According to a report from the General Directorate of Criminal Evidence, the 100 capsules seized from the accused contained cocaine and weighed 1.9 kgs.

The verdict has been appealed.

Librarian leaves $4m to school he worked at for 50 years

http://mrsnowgy.blogspot.com/2016/09/librarian-leaves-4m-to-school-he-worked.html

A University of New Hampshire librarian and alumnus Robert Morin who spent almost 50 years of his life working at the Durham campus’s Dimond Library, who died last year at the age of 77 left $4 million to the school.
Morin, who was known to “live simply,”amassed his wealth through the stock market but kept his job as a janitor until his death. Even fewer knew he then gifted his fortune to his alma mater.

UNH announced in a statement Tuesday that the unexpected benefactor Robert Morin left $4 million to the school.

“Bob’s demonstrated commitment to UNH through his philanthropy is tremendously inspiring,” President Mark Huddleston said in a statement.

“His generous gift allows us to address a number of university priorities. … We are committed to providing the resources needed to ensure every student achieves professional success and Bob’s gift will play a major role in that effort.”
'You'd never know the man was a millionaire,' said his lawyer, Laurie Rowell.  'The last time he came here, he parked far away in a spot where there were no meters so he could save the coins'. Morin was described as keeping to himself, with his financial advisor telling the Union-Leader that his client “never went out.” But he did have a love for all movies and books.

Huddleston said that from 1979 to 1997, Morin watched more than 22,000 videos. He then decided he wanted to read every book published in the U.S. from 1930 to 1940 – excluding children’s books, textbooks, and books about cooking and technology— in chronological order Morin had reached 1938, the year of his birth, at the time of his death.

Of his gift, $100,000 was specifically dedicated to an area of the school: the Dimond Library. The money will be used to “provide scholarships for work-study students, support staff members who continue their studies in library science, and renovate and upgrade one of the library’s multimedia rooms.”

As for the rest of Morin’s unrestricted gift, $1 million will go toward a video scoreboard at the school’s new football stadium and another $2.5 million will help establish a career center for students and alumni on campus, Huddleston said.

French mayor on burkini ban: Muslims must accept our way of life, if you don't want to live the way we do, don't come!

The Mayor of the French town of Riviera, Marc Etienne Lansade has told Muslim beach goers not to come to his town if they aren't prepared to accept their way of life by not wearing burkinis to beaches.
"If you don't want to live the way we do, don't come. You have to behave in the way that people behave in the country that accepted you, and that is it," Mayor Marc Etienne Lansade told CNN.

"If you are accepted in Rome -- do like Romans do," he said, adding, "go in Saudi Arabia and be naked and see what will happen to you."

Lansade, alongside several other mayors in France maintains that burkinis have been banned in his town despite a ruling by France's highest administrative court that mayors do not have the right to outlaw burkinis.

The court ruling comes after more than 30 French towns banned the burkini, a swimsuit which covers the whole body except for the face, hands and feet and is worn mostly by Muslim women.

Black schoolgirls in South Africa protest after being told to straighten their hair

Pretoria Girls High School is facing a furious backlash after instructing black school pupils to straighten their hair. Black school girls claim that they have been subjected to racism and that their blackness has been discouraged. They added that school rules forbid African hairstyles such as afro, Bantu knots, dreadlocks and braids.

#StopRacismAtPretoriaGirlsHigh is currently trending in South Africa. Videos and photos of pupils protesting at the school, one of them sporting an afro, went viral over the weekend

A petition STOP RACISM AT PRETORIA GIRLS HIGH which has over 9,889 signatures so far, has been set up asking the authorities to investigate the school. Part of the petition read:

"Learners at Pretoria High school are demanding that racist practices at the school are brought to an end. Girls attending the school have been forced to straighten their hair; are accused of conspiring when standing in groups and face other intolerable comments and actions"
The Gauteng Department of Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi arrived at Pretoria High School for Girls on Monday to investigate racism allegations by its black learners. He is currently in a meeting with parents, management as well as the school principal Karen Du Toit.

Spokesperson, Elijah Mhlanga told DRUM that it is too soon to determine what action will be taken against whom at the school if the girls’ concerns are valid.
"I can’t have a blanket solution for every time there is an outburst of racism at a school because each case is unique," he says. "We want to know what is going on here before we can make a comment"
The girls also claim they are not allowed to speak their mother tongue and that a teacher called them monkeys when they were singing and chanting in class.

Meanwhile, the situation at the school has escalted with political youth movement gathering outside the main gate. Members of SASCO,COSAS, the African National Congress Youth League and Economic Freedom Fighters tried to force their way into the school premises after the school's management barred parents from coming in to fetch their children.

Donald Trump's campaign manager Paul Manafort resigns after two months of work

It just might be a sign that Donald Trump is finally losing the U.S presidential election as his campaign manager Paul Manafort today resigned, after just two months of being in the job.

Trump announced the news on Friday morning:
'This morning Paul Manafort offered, and I accepted, his resignation from the campaign. I am very appreciative for his great work in helping to get us where we are today, and in particular his work guiding us through the delegate and convention process. Paul is a true professional and I wish him the greatest success.'

It's the second high profile departure from the top of Trump's campaign structure after campaign manager Corey Lewandowski left the operation earlier this summer. Breitbart News chief Steve Bannon is the new campaign CEO while Kellyanne Conway is the campaign manager.
