Mrsnowgys sport: The big expectations

There is no doubt that the arrival of Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford has given United that air of champions yet again, without the Red Devils having yet backed it up with competitive results, despite the fact that they have spent huge sum of money on players and wages as well but it is Ranieri and his team of heroic  who arrive as the true champions despite their performances in pre-season thus far having suggested otherwise.

Leicester has not had a good preseason to show the quality of a true champion but their is another opportunity for them to remind people against Manchester United at Wembley today and it is for that reason why Leicester must finally turn up and prove their credentials ahead of a campaign where they still have the potential to shock once again. Ranieri has promised supporters that his side are going out there to win, which for a man who continues to play down his team's aims for the coming season is quite a statement of intent. Do that up against the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan and those writing them off as one-season wonders would be forced to reconsider. They need to prove that they can put their tent with the big spenders.

Manchester city finished fourth last season on the last day of the campaign and that is something champions don't do and it does not match with what a team of their caliber should exhibit. The acquisition of Guardiola will definitely bring in a few changes to the players orientation. Let us see what they can achieve.
