Mrsnowgys sport: Man City prepares for Champions league play off

People often assume that finishing in the top four of the Premier League guarantees Champions League football, however that is only the case for the top three.
Unlike champions Leicester City, Tottenham and Arsenal, Pep Guardiola's City have to play a two-legged qualifying match to reach the group stages of the Champions League due to their fourth placed finish.
There are 20 teams in the draw, however this is split into two, based upon whether a team won their league or if they qualified through their league position, making up the ‘champions route’ and ‘league route’ draws respectively.

Five teams are then seeded from each draw and will be play against an unseeded team from their respective route.
We'll have all the news of the draw at 11am this morning plus reaction along with transfer news, with Marlos Moreno expected to sign and John Stones negotiations continuing.

Stick with us for the best City coverage around and get in touch with your thoughts and opinions.
Let us see what the legendary Guardiola can bring to the table at this prestigious club and actually surpass what his predecessor has achieved.
I guess only time will tell
